What is the Elementary Parent Teacher Guild (EPTG)?
We are a support group for our school much like a PTA. We provide educational presentations, social receptions, family activities, appreciation luncheons, and yearly school gifts.
What is the fee for joining the EPTG ?
The membership fee is $10 per family. The membership fee is used for all the events and program we sponsor. With your family membership you will receive a student directory listing the student’s names, room number, parent’s first names, addresses, and phone numbers. (Families can request to be unlisted)
What does EPTG do to benefit our students, teachers, and school?
In the past years EPTG has donated $12,500 to update our computer room and we donated $5000 towards lockers in our middle school wing. Most recently we purchased a 150 gallon aquarium for the school library and a new play kitchen for the kidergarten. We donated $2000 to the library for new reference materials. We have purchased an additional computer for the teacher work room. We have added new overhead projectors and new fans to the classrooms. we have also purchased approximately $5000 in new science materials for the lab and classrooms. These are just a few of the contributions we have made recently.
What kinds of events does EPTG sponsor?
EPTG provides quarterly educational presentations each year such as living science, puppet shows, reading presentations, fine arts, and history presentations. We sponsor teacher appreciation week / luncheon, 8th grade graduation reception and dance, kindergarten graduation reception, First Communion breakfast, grandparent’s and saint’s day reception and more. Some of the special events during the year we sponsor include:
- Olympic Night
- Fall Family Dance
- Christmas Craft Workshop
- Field Day
